How to choose a healthy natural sweetness
Last week we had been to Cloudtail office to meet our on boarding partner. As the meeting prolonged, we were offered Coffee . He asked us to help ourselves with the choice of sweetener. He preferred Brown sugar as its natural, healthy sugar substitute and less in calories .He was surprised when we highlighted the calorie content on the pack .

1.White sugar: Processed from cane is available in white packets in every café’s. Its sweet taste makes the coffee more delicious but due to its recent association with weight gain,diabetes and other lifestyle disorders,it’s been branded as white poison.

Artificial Sweeteners / Sugar free: You can find yellow or blue colour sachets containing high intense artificial sweeteners like Aspartame, Sucralose which are 200 to 600 times sweetener than sugar and requires very less quantity to sweeten. Artificial sweeteners though cut out calories but over powers the flavour and can leave a medicinal after taste. Debate still continues if they are safe on long usage with no side effects.

4. Natural Sweeteners: You can find green colour sachets containing high intense sweeteners like Stevia which is 100 to 300 times sweetener than sugar and requires very less quantity to sweeten.
